The Classic is built on a live brown rice sourdough starter that has been maintained for years, whole grains milled fresh before they go into the dough, and an overnight fermentation that does the work most bread skips entirely. The starch ratios have been refined to reduce gumminess and bring the whole grain character of sorghum to the front. A small addition of organic extra virgin olive oil improves how the loaf slices, how it holds after freezing, and how it tastes six months after you put it in the freezer.
The result is a loaf with real flavor, an open crumb, and a crust that behaves like bread is supposed to behave. No gums, no flour blends, no shortcuts. Nothing in the loaf that does not belong there.
Every loaf is produced in a certified organic, dedicated gluten-free facility in Eugene, Oregon. No cross-contamination risk, no compromises on ingredient quality.

Storage Enjoy within five to seven days for peak freshness. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Slice and freeze for up to six months. Best toasted.

Just bought 2 loaves of the Classic. This is the first time trying your bread. The flavor is awesome, but I find it a little dry and the reason for the 4 stars. The only way I could eat it was warmed up. Please add more liquid to the recipe. Even though a little dry, I will keep ordering.
We've been eating gluten free organic for the last 15 years and have tried any product that we can that meets our dietary requirements. This bread is such a treat. It gives me memories of eating fresh bread baked in a restaurant. The texture and mouth feel are spot on and it tastes delicious. It has truly elevated our dinners. I'm so thrilled we found Leaven & Love!
I haven’t eaten bread for years after trying many gluten free breads that unfortunately had a strange after taste. Then I discovered your GF sourdough bread at the NW Crossing farmers market and am delighted to be having toasted bread once again!
